1.

"A Week or 2 in Languedoc" "we" and "us" refer to the owners of the www.aweekor2inlanguedoc.com website.
"the client" refers to prospective holidaymakers and other persons who use this website.
"the owner" refers to the owners of property advertised on this website or representatives of owners who place advertisements on their behalf.

A Week or 2 in Languedoc offers an advertising service and is not responsible for the contract between the owner and the client.  Bookings are the sole responsibility of the owner and it is the owner's responsibility to determine the suitability of the client for their property.  All contracts for lettings are between the owner and the client.

3.

A Week or 2 in Languedoc Independent Comment – we have visited some, but not all, of the properties advertised on this site.  In publishing an Independent Comment about an individual property, we do not confirm the accuracy of the details contained in the advertisement.  It is responsibility of the client to make relevant enquiries with the owner before renting any of the properties.

Complaints must be dealt with between the owner and the client directly.  We can accept no responsibility for complaints resolutions.

7.

The person placing the advert is the rightful owner of the property or acting on behalf of the owner.

8.

Properties must be accurately described at the time of booking an advertisement.  A Week or 2 in Languedoc cannot be held responsible for misrepresentations of property described by the owner.  We will assume no responsibility for any claims made against the owner.  We reserve the right to amend or refuse any advertisement that we feel is inaccurate in any way and if necessary to remove any advertisement from the site.

Advertisements can be accepted by email or post.  Unless otherwise negotiated the cost quoted is per property for one year's advertising to include 4 photographs, a total of 500 words of text, pricing chart and contact details, with links to the owner's website and email address.  However, we reserve the right not to make links to sites that are in competition with us or which have links to such sites.

The owner accepts that advertisements may be published before the owner's approval has been confirmed.  Once an advertisement is placed, the owner will be notified by email or post.  If not notified within 5 days of any amendments, the advertisement will be deemed to be acceptable.  At this stage, no refund will be given if the owner decides for any reason to withdraw the advertisement.

12.

A Week or 2 in Languedoc reserves the right to copy or amend any material supplied should it be deemed necessary.  Care is taken when producing advertisements but errors or omissions resulting in loss or damage cannot be deemed our responsibility.  Photographs will be reproduced as clearly as possible from the material supplied.  No guarantee is given as to where an advertisement will be listed.

13.

It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that photographs, text or other material supplied to us are not in breach of copyright laws.  In the event that we are notified by a third party of a possible or actual breach of copyright, we reserve the right to remove any such material in question from the website, after written notification by email to the owner.  The owner also agrees to take responsibility for any claims against us by a third party if such claims relate to material supplied to us and approved by the owner.

14.

The owner will be notified in writing or by email shortly before the expiry of the advertising period.  If the following year's advertising is not agreed between A Week or 2 in Languedoc and the owner by the expiry date, the property will be removed from the website.

15.

We will care for material supplied but cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage however caused.  We will return material if specifically requested.

16.

Changes to the text of advertisements can be made at any time by the owner free of charge.  However, we reserve the right to levy a charge for major alterations to an advertisement.  All changes should be notified to us in writing by email or post.

17.

Changes to photographs will be charged as specified under our Advertising Rates.

18.

All pages remain the property of A Week or 2 in Languedoc.  We reserve the right to amend the layout or any other aspect of the website or advertisements.  Pages may be printed for the personal use of the client or the owner, but may not be reproduced, as this would be deemed to be in breach of copyright.

19.

We will take all precautions to ensure that any technical problems with the site are corrected as soon as possible but cannot be held responsible for any resulting loss or damage.

20.

Placing an advertisement with A Week or 2 in Languedoc confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

All terms and conditions shall be governed by English law.
