Villa Laffon has 4 double bedrooms with the master suite having an en-suite shower room. A large well-equipped bathroom, with corner bath and shower. There is a lounge with dining room combined and a separate fully equipped kitchen.
All the accommodation is on one level and is suitable for guests with mobility problems. The pool is at the rear of the property and has a large outdoor dining area complete with built in outdoor B.B.Q.
The terrace and garden have uninterrupted views over unspoilt cornfields, towards the Pyrenees, where the snowy peaks can be seen nearly all year round.
The pool area is very private and secluded enabling you to concentrate on building a deep suntan should you wish, without any interruptions.
During your stay you will have full, exclusive use of the house, pool and garden, with the reassurance that the English manager is within 10 minutes drive away should any unexpected problems occur during your stay. The manager will visit at a mutually agreed time in each midweek period to ensure the pool is clean and also to maintain and water the gardens.
The villa is furnished throughout in a contemporary style (all furniture and equipment new for 2006). The lounge is equipped with British Satellite TV, DVD and CD player.

LOCAL AREA
Activities include cycling, walking, fishing and canoeing, horse-riding at Verceille (15 minutes), tennis in Villemoustaussou, golf (4 courses), wine tasting.
Villemoustaussou holds fetes’ and festivals on many summer weekends.
Carcassonne the famous medieval city is 10 minutes drive and is full of restaurants, bars and small shops which, together with museums and other historical attractions, makes it a place to visit many times.
The Canal du Midi is only 5 minutes drive for boat trips and walks. Mirepoix, Limoux and Castelnaudry are all nearby and well worth exploring.
Further afield are Narbonne, Toulouse, Perpignan and Foix, the famous Cathar Castle sites and the beaches at Narbonne Plage (45 minutes) and Cap d’Agde.

If you like the idea of a holiday in a picturesque region with a wealth of historic towns and villages, but have reservations about renting older traditional properties which may lack the comforts of home, this modern villa may well suit. It offers smart accommodation with comfortable and tasteful furnishings, is well equipped and also has central heating for winter. The villa has a light and airy feel with excellent views. The layout is well designed with the good size living room adjacent to a large, private outside dining terrace and the inviting pool.
The villa is in a quiet road of similar properties just outside the village, but only a few minutes walk to the village baker and bars, whilst also being close to the key sightseeing attraction of Carcassonne.
