Excerpt from Alastair Sawday Publishing “Special places to stay. French holiday homes”
". . . It is an Aladdin’s cave, an intoxicating mix of French, English, Moroccan and Indian treasures. Escape the blistering heat into this cool, calm space; the village is cooly perched in the foothills of the Cévennes and you are in the middle of it. . . History, big open fields and vineyards await - if you can leave your own little piece of heaven.”
You will be met on arrival by a guardian fluent in English who lives close by and looks after the house.
No pets.

Independent Comment
Behind the façade of a seemingly traditional older village house you will be fascinated and delighted by this exceptional property. The feature salon/living room is very spacious with some unique features including a barrel vaulted ceiling, elegant and unusual furniture and lots of sumptuous seating – ideal to relax and unwind. Up a wide marble staircase a good sense of space flows through to the bedrooms, each decorated in appealing pastel colours giving a warm light and airy ambiance; the largest is of regal proportions with a beautiful feature fresco above the bed-head and well furnished sitting area. The large private courtyard terrace outside the well equipped kitchen/dining room is most convenient. A sophisticated and unique property with modern comforts.
