Le Vieux Relais offers a complete holiday experience with delicious food and wine from a few nights B&B with dinner at local restaurants, table d'hotes service where you have evening dinner with us on our covered dining terrace in the courtyard, to fully catered weeks - or more. You just turn up and we do the rest!
We can create a package 'just for you', we run photography courses in partnership with Minervois Photography, we also cater for groups and have a number of theme weekends and weeks throughout the year including food and wine appreciation, walking, painting and more; please contact us for details. Any of our 'themes' can be included as part of your stay when you book the whole house. If you'd like to do something that isn't currently on our list, we'll see what we can do!
Accommodation
We offer top rate facilities for our guests with 2 double rooms, 3 suites / family rooms and large guest salon with satellite TV, plenty of books, DVDs, videos etc:
The Carcassonne and the Narbonne Suites - two mini-suites offering luxury wet rooms, separate dressing area, seating area and king size beds; an extra bed can be provided in the screened off dressing area - ideal for families with an older child.
The Minerve room - large twin-bedded room with seating area and large ensuite bathroom.
The Olonzac Suite - family suite comprising of large double bedded room with seating area overlooking the courtyard, separate children's room with twin beds and bathroom; particularly suitable for guests with younger children as access to the second bedroom is through the main bedroom. A cot or third single bed can be provided.
The St Chinian room - very large ground floor room overlooking the courtyard with king size bed, seating area and spacious bathroom with separate bath and walk-in shower; suitable for families or less able guests who would prefer not to climb stairs; cot or single bed available.
Weekly rental with a difference!
The house is available for rent by the week in high season - we provide a catered service, allowing the whole party to relax while being looked after unobtrusively - all the advantages of self-catering with none of the hassle! We cook fresh local produce and all you have to do is tell us if there is anything you don’t eat, we agree a budget with you and take it from there.

This impressive property enjoys an imposing position near the church in the open and spacious centre of this pretty village. The grandeur and elegance of a traditional country house are stylishly combined with all the modern comforts. The spacious bedrooms are on a grand scale with high ceilings, tasteful period furnishings with comfortable armchairs and the luxury ensuite shower-rooms to the 2nd floor bedrooms are a particular feature. Attention to detail is apparent throughout and many original features have been beautifully restored, including the sweeping grand staircase, wooden doors, beams, original tiled and wooden floors. Next to the sumptuous lounge you can dine in style in the graceful expanse of the large dining room or the covered outside dining area after a dip in the private courtyard pool and drinks on the west-facing courtyard terrace.
