Set in the midst of vines, the ancient lovingly restored Domaine de St. Ferreol buildings lie in a 35 acre estate, comprising of 2 acres of wooded parkland, 1 km of riverbank, a bamboo park and natural water gardens and ponds. The natural habitat attracts a wide variety of wildlife.
For your relaxation there is a large swimming pool (13 x 6 m) with Roman end steps set in 3/4 acre of lawns, mature trees and parkland. It is bordered by a century old 2 metre high wall and a disused small canal over which there are panoramic views down to the river.
Set in the shady wooded parkland is a children’s play area with swings, a slide, a climbing frame, sand pit and table tennis, and the whole family can unwind playing boules, badminton, volleyball or croquet on the estate lawns.
You are free to roam the estate and surrounding land, the ancient vaulted wine cellar below the main house or stroll down to the river past our ancient watermill. There are plenty of nooks and crannies amongst the walkways in the park where you can sit and read or just relax and unwind, away from it all.
The villas
There are 6 fully independent villas with a choice of 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, set around the Domaine’s courtyard. Each villa has its own private entrance and sundrenched garden or garden area with a BBQ, garden table and chairs and umbrella.
Careful attention has been taken to restore and retain original features, from the heavily beamed ceilings to exposed stone walls.
The interiors throughout are cool and spacious furnished with antique and country furniture with comfortable couches and chairs in a rustic French Manor House style. Each living room has French doors opening out onto private gardens which create a light and pleasant atmosphere.
The luxury bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens are furnished to the highest standard. Each villa has a full-sized oven and hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, TV and DVD player. The villas have log burning fires and / or central heating for cooler evenings.

Mouth-watering fresh bread, croissants, pain au chocolat and patisseries are delivered daily to your doorstep by our local Adissan baker.

Information about local wines and vineyards upon request. Wine tastings in our Cave of a selection of our and other fine wines in the region. Training in wine tasting provided. Visits to vineyards arranged and accompanied if required.
LOCAL AREA
A wonderful location from which to discover the region from the Mediterranean beaches around Sete, Agde, Marseillan and Valros to the historic cities of Montpellier, Beziers, Nimes, Carcassonne and Aigues Mortes.
Roman forts, cathar castles, mediaeval abbeys and stunning cathedrals are all within close proximity. Enjoy the many local summer fetes, open air jazz concerts, art galleries, museums and chic shopping in Montpellier.
If you enjoy golf, horse-riding, tennis, fishing, canoeing or simply soaking up the sun on the glorious Mediterranean beaches, all are close by. Being close to the sea you can find a wealth of mouthwatering fresh fish and shellfish (especially Bouzigues Oysters) or visit the vibrant cafes, bars and open air restaurants of Pezenas playing jazz and live music long into the summer evenings.
