We have visited many of the properties in order to provide our Independent Comment on the property / location, which is designed to assist holidaymakers in selecting the most suitable property / location for their requirements. However, we do not recommend any holiday properties on A Week or 2 in Languedoc above any other properties on the site.

Background

We created our independent A Week or 2 in Languedoc website following a number of years owning and running holiday property accommodation.

We have over 20 years experience of Languedoc-Roussillon, having first discovered the region as students, working for several months as campsite couriers! - subsequently returning as visitors / holidaymakers for many years.  At more mature ages, we gained invaluable experience owning and running a large gite complex in the Hérault department as well as on a smaller scale in the Pyrénées-Orientales.  Over this period of time we have discovered more and more about the rich diversity of attractions within the Languedoc-Roussillon.

We are based in the UK managing and promoting A Week or 2 in Languedoc, but continue to spend several months of the year in Languedoc-Roussillon; our key focus is on personally visiting our advertisers with a view to building long term relationships and providing our Independent Comment section which is designed to assist both holidaymakers and property owners alike.  At the same time, we also try to ensure we keep up to date in more general terms with the many attractions of the region with the holidaymaker in mind.

We are committed to substantial investment in building the site over a period of time as our aim is to make A Week or 2 in Languedoc the preferred independent site to consult for self-catering holidays in Languedoc-Roussillon.
